Brasa is a fire-driven restaurant located in the heart of Helsinki, where premium ingredients, a relaxed atmosphere, and true craftsmanship come together. Fire is more than just a cooking method for us – it's the heart of our kitchen, reflected in every dish, every interaction, and every guest experience. At Brasa, memorable moments are created together, and every successful service is built on seamless teamwork.
While our heart beats for open-fire cooking, every exceptional dish also needs a cool head behind it. We are now looking for a Shift Supervisor to join us in a permanent full-time position, taking responsibility for the cold kitchen section. We're looking for a professional who keeps the cold kitchen running smoothly, leads by example, and ensures uncompromising quality even during the busiest services.
Our ideal start date is 1 August 2026, but we're happy to agree on the exact starting date together.
What will you be doing?
Taking responsibility for the daily operation, quality, and efficiency of the cold kitchen section
Leading your shift and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations
Inspiring, supporting, and coaching the team to succeed together
Creating warm and memorable dining experiences together with the rest of the team
Maintaining exceptional quality, attention to detail, and ensuring every dish meets Brasa's high standards
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a cold kitchen within an à la carte and/or fine dining restaurant, with the ability to stay in control during busy services
Strong pastry skills, along with a willingness to learn and develop new techniques
Fluent English communication skills
A strong commitment to quality and a responsible approach to your work
The ability to stay calm, focused, and decisive under pressure
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests
