We are looking for enthusiastic chefs to join our team at Restaurant Särkänlinna
If you're up for a unique work experience, we think that the summer at Särkkä is just that. We're all about the island vibes here (a short ferry ride to work guarantees it), yet the city center is right nearby. During the summer, you'll also have the chance to be part of various events, such as weddings and crayfish parties.
Särkänlinna is one of Helsinki's most beloved summer restaurants. Our menu relies on the finest ingredients and local food seasons. Quality is paramount to us, and we put in a lot of effort to achieve it. Leading Särkänlinna in 2024 is the experienced duo Katja Henttunen and Tuomas Vierelä from the Michelin-starred restaurant Olo.
Interested? Fantastic! Now you have a great opportunity to become part of the Restaurant Särkänlinna team, as we are looking for enthusiastic chefs for the summer of 2024, both for part-time and full-time positions. The work starts in early May and lasts until the end of September.
We expect from you:
- work experience as a chef (experience of banquets is a plus)
- versatile skills in cold, hot, and dessert sections of the kitchen
- excellent proficiency in English (knowledge of Finnish is a plus)
- ambition in your work
- enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
- positive and flexible attitude
- strong teamwork skills.
